The Singapore National Art Gallery will transform two of the country’s major heritage buildings into exhibition spaces presenting Singaporean and South East Asian modern and contemporary art as well as international exhibitions.

StudioMilou singapore, branch of studioMilou architecture, is charged with both the renovation of the buildings and the exhibition design, and seeks a creative exhibition designer with managerial skills to join its team.

Required skills:
  • Advanced degree in architecture, art or design.
  • 3-10 years of relevant exhibition design experience, in particular art exhibits.
  • Strong understanding of design development and technical areas: exhibition, display, graphic design, exhibition information technology, lighting design, etc.
  • Knowledge of CAO Software (Autocad, 3D).
  • Competent leadership skills and ability to work closely within Studiomilou’s exhibition design team, designers and other exhibit professionals.
  • Efficiency in tenders, budgets, deadlines, schedules and various contracts.
  • Overseeing consultants,delivery of exemplary exhibits, documents and other products.
  • Excellent communication skills, genuine interest in cross-cultural relations.
  • Ability to work closely with the client team, including the curators team, the gallery’s management, admin, conservation, education, public relations and marketing personnel.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Full-time position, Salary Starting at 80,000 SING $ p.a.net (negotiable)
