What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication (also known as a web feed). Essentially, RSS is an easy way for websites to broadcast updates about their content. Think of RSS as your personal wire service. In MERC's case, we use RSS to create one location that contains our most recent job listings and other information.

How can I read an RSS feed?
As a MERC visitor, you can subscribe to our RSS feed (it's free) with a news reader or content aggregator application. Think of these applications as radio receivers that let you hear our daily news program. Through them, RSS will allow you to go directly to our website's most recent job listings.

There are many content aggregator applications available. Some web browsers have RSS reader capabilities built in. The list of content aggregator applications below is not exhaustive and is only provided as a starting place for you to begin searching for the application that works best for you. MERC neither recommends nor warns against the use of any of these applications.

After choosing your news reader/content aggregator, follow the application's instructions to subscribe to http://www.museum-employment.com/newjobs.xml.

Please note that MERC has an average of 900 visitors every day. We regret that we are unable to answer technical questions about RSS feeds and readers.
